Stephen Tanzer
Pale, bright yellow with a faint green tinge. Rich, spicy, Cote d`Or-like aromas of citrus zest, pineapple and spices. Round, generous and silky-sweet, with an exotic richness to its pineapple and lichee flavors. Large-scaled, slightly warm wine, finishing with a tannic impression. From much older vines than the Valmur, some of them dating back to 1947. 90-92 points

Discreet if not invisible wood sets off a ripe but cool and complex nose of green and white orchard fruit, citrus skin and oyster shell nuances. There is solid density to the generous, even lush big-bodied flavors that possess fine concentration and plenty of mouth coating extract that coats the palate on the finer and suave finish that isn`t quite as complex and persistent as the Valmur. 90-93 points
