Firm of tannin and ripe of fruit, the 2012 Amirault Le Grand Clos is less the peppery style of cabernet franc and shows more and darker fruit with which to back up the structure. It is full flavoured and fresh and wold be a good accompaniment to the pork belly in my freezer. (CW 03/02/17)
