2012 Chapoutier Chateauneuf Croix de Bois

Secondary Description
There`s an expansive aroma of liqueur red fruit on the nose. In the mouth cherry fruit, raspberry, touch of rhubarb, good viscosity and soft tannin. Plenty of flavour on the long finish, fresher than I anticipated, mineral, quite long. (CW 03/06/13)

Four hectares of vines planted in 1910. Mid cherry red. Vegy, rich, very flattering nose with ripe red sweet fruit on the palate that comes to a pretty, neat conclusion. Really quite open and friendly. Drink 2014-2020. 16.5 points
