2012 Andre Dezat Pouilly-Fume Dom Thibault

This is a slightly more mineral style of Sauvignon Blanc than the Sancerre from this house. It’s cooler and carries a pleasing intensity and is happily free from the overly exotic yeast driven aromatics of some new world self-styled equivalents. This is a marriage of vine and landscape that has given pleasure for generations and will give your shellfish and other foods a delicious lift. (CW 05/12/13)
