Cerasuolo di Vitoria is the only DOCG in Sicily, established in 2005. There are two permitted varieties; Nero d`Avola (aka Calabrese) and light, refreshing Frappato. Here, Frappato brings the freshness of a raspberry sorbet to the burly, cherried character of Nero d`Avola, resulting in a delightful, medium-weight blend. (NT 07/08/15)
