Stephen Tanzer
(14.1% alcohol; 55% grenache, 40% syrah and 5% mourvedre): Good bright, full red. Expressive nose combines raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, game and red licorice, all lifted by a hint of rose petal. Bright, primary red berry flavors offer lovely sweetness and purity but will need time in bottle to gain in complexity. Finishes suave and firm, with captivating lingering perfume. Very young and promising. 92 points
