2011 d`Argadens (Bordeaux Superieur Rouge)

Chateau Argadens is situated to the south of the Entre-deux-Mers and as a wine estate can trace its roots back to the 12th century. It carries the name of its 13th century owner. Maison Sichel is a small family producer and negociant with a large share of Chateau Palmer and the assiduous care at Palmer is more than echoed here. Meticulous viticulture and relaxed winemaking mean effortlessly drinkable Bordeaux at old school prices in a modern style. Delicious. (CW 28/08/15)
