2011 Cape Chamonix Pinot Noir Reserve

Intense black fruit and spice is the first impression from this wine which is Reserve – but far from reserved in character. On allocation only, we’ve been working with Chamonix for years now and find bot the fruit, and especially the fine texture of these wines most rewarding. Matured in oak, of which 50% is new, these will age beautifully for up to ten years. (CW 18/10/13)
