2010 Inama Carmenere Piu (Veneto)

Stefano`s latest iteration of the blend has 70% Carmenere with a 30% splodge of Merlot. Though I think that dark fruited Carmenere remains well in charge of proceedings. One of Verona`s specialities is bollito misto - a selection of meats simmered together in a delicious broth, served with sauces and dressings various and the wine is a wonderful pairing for this and many other foods too.
