The 2010 Sequillo Red Blend is a coming together of classic Rhone varieties. It has a lovely bouquet of blackberry, raspberry leaf, Provencal herbs, iodine and lavender that is just beautifully defined. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins, a life-affirming sense of symmetry. It is so elegant and natural with superb minerality on the finish. This is cut from such a different cloth to older vintages – far more refined and complex. Drink now-2020. 93 points
