Robert Parker
A stunning sleeper of the vintage, this blend of 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Petit Verdot from the Onclin family is a homerun. It got a big “Wow” from me, given its blueberry and blackberry fruit, hints of camphor and charcoal, superb texture, full-bodied mouth-feel and stunningly long finish. A major over-achiever in 2010, this wine should drink well for 15 or more years. 92 points

50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot. Very dark, inky core. Aromatic cedary cassis with a touch of mocha. Rich, sweet and velvety though there is a good charge of tannins under all that plush fruit. Modern in its fruit expression but well structured. 16.5 points

Good ruby-red. Slightly reduced aromas of cassis, mocha, nutty oak and violet. Concentrated, plush and suave, with excellent vinosity giving definition to the black raspberry, blueberry and menthol flavors. Finishes with firm tannins and noteworthy persistence. Serious, suave wine with real shape--and a topnotch value in 2010. 89 points
