Robert Parker
Probably the finest Belair I have ever tasted, proprietor Pascal Delbeck has fashioned a deep ruby-hued 2005 with a sweet bouquet of black cherries, earth, forest floor, and spice. A steely backbone gives structure to this medium-bodied, elegant, generously concentrated St.-Emilion. It will benefit from 5-6 years of cellaring, and should keep for two decades. 87-89 points
