1995 Miltonduff, AD Rattray 18 yo 58.5%

The location and history of Miltonduff is pure Speyside. It`s source is the Black Burn which rises near Pluscarden Abbey and it was founded in 1824 - just a year after the Excise Act made distilling legal. This barrel has a lovely slightly sour plum, even rhubarb character, leavened by sweetness from cask and alcohol and with a long, oaty, fruity, super soft finish. (CW 04/12/13)
