1983 Balmenach, AD Rattray 30 yo 51.2%

Situated in the heart of Speyside, next to Royal Lochnagar, Balmenach (also known as Cromdale) is rarely seen as a single, it`s owners have always used the spirit in their blends and over a third has been sold to other companies doing the same thing. This is one for the white Burgundy drinker. There`s Mandarin, fudge, vanilla oak and spice as well as richness and considerable depth of flavour, as you would expect from such an old cask.
