Jean Guiton is a Domaine that provides true value in burgundy. The Domaine was founded by Jean Guiton himself in 1975, and has been managed by his son Guillaume since 2005, though he has been working at the estate with his father since 1998. Guillaume likes to make pure, fruit-forward Pinot Noir which expresses the terroir of their various plots around the Cote du Beaune. He is considered a very hands-off winemaker, when tasting his wines you get the feel of a light touch in the winery. These are elegant and refined with superb depth. (DS 05/04/22)
