20% new wood. Mid lemon yellow. The nose is both more concentrated and more restrained than the Bourgogne Blanc. The little touch of new wood adds an extra dimension. The oak returns behind, at the moment quite present but will soon blend in. Light citrus, high class fresh apples, and considerable length. 92 points

The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Perrieres Blanc 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet with freshly-sliced pear, frangipane, sea spray and orange rind scents. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, fresh with peach skin and dried mango on the finish. Delightful. 90 points
