2021 Corte Sant`Alda Valpolicella Ca Fiui

BAM! The aromas hit like a truck, carrying red cherry, cranberry, black tea (or fruity single-origin espresso, perhaps), rhubarb and a warming hint of smoke. The palate is soft and refined, with plentiful red fruit and a touch of ripe tannin which frames the cherry-etched finish. An impressive wine, really giving and enjoyable. (JH 04/08/22)
