Petite Marole is a south-east facing Givry premier cru on white clay ; Lumpp bottles both red and white from here. The red has a more clearly distinct, defined character ; Cranberry, raspberry and herbal aromas with a nice fresh crunch and soft to medium tannins. (NT 10/01/20)

Dense dark purple, with lots of power to the nose too. All the bouquets of the 2018 Lumpp wines seem quite brutal on first pouring, but soon lighten up. Powerful concentrated wine with great grip and depth. 89 points
