Even lively purple. Deep plummy nose, some mulberry, but very juicy and then a little bit dry at the finish, let us see how this pulls together. Explosive fruit, it’s a style. 86-89 points

The 2018 Morey-Saint-Denis Village features bold blackberry and bilberry aromas that convey an attractive sense of energy. The palate has a pastille-like purity on the entry, fine acidity and a nicely structured, slightly ferrous finish. Enjoy over the next four or five years. 87-89 points

Of the three Dujac Fils et Père villages bottlings, the 2018 Morey was the prettiest of the three at the time of my visit. The nose is pure and precise, offering up scents of plums, black cherries, dark chocolate, gamebird and a fine base of soil tones. On the palate the wine is long, pure and classy, with a full-bodied and very nicely balanced format, a good core and a long, moderately tannic and focused finish. Good juice. Drink 2023-2045+. 89-90 points

Inviting freshness on the nose. Fine-boned, juicy, quite light but persistent. Dry, delicate tannins. Stony dry finish. 16 points
