The 2017 Ridolfo is a heady, exotic wine. Plush and opulent, with bright acids and nearly seamless tannins, the 2017 Ridolfo is quite the wine. Mocha, espresso, licorice, menthol, pine and dried herbs all build in a potent, deeply structured wine. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Pugnitello is striking. The only thing the 2017 needs is time. 94+ points
