The Morey-St-Denis Millandes suffered no losses from the frost. It offers a drk and ripe fruit nose. On the palate there is creamy, dark fruit and a good juicy attack with very fine acidity which reveals further layers of fruit. It`s very mineral with superfine tannins. It has good length of flavour and finishes cool on its mineral and black fruit. (CW 9/11/17)

Allen Meadows
Here too there is just enough wood present to cite on the very ripe yet fresh aromas of cassis, plum, black cherry, warm earth and a whiff of the sauvage. There is excellent size, weight and power to the big-bodied, concentrated and intense flavors that possess an appealingly textured mouthfeel thanks to the copious amount of dry extract that also buffers the firm core of tannins on the impressively long finish. This seriously constituted effort will require extended cellaring to reveal its considerable potential. 91-93 points

Very bright crimson. Hint of autumn leaves on the nose (a rarity in 2016). Extraordinarily smooth tannins. Polished refined fruit. Super charming and sweet. Charm in spades. 17 points
