A pretty and more elegant nose reveals notes of both red and dark currant that are suffused with soft spice and floral nuances. There is slightly better concentration to the caressing middle weight flavors where a hint of minerality arises on the solidly complex, lingering and youthfully austere finale. This mouth coating effort is sufficiently firm that it will need at least a few years to unwind. This too is worth a look. 89 points
