2016 Freeman Pinot Noir Akiko`s Cuvee

The 2016 Pinot Noir Akiko`s Cuvée is another stellar wine from Freeman. Deep and pliant, with terrific depth, it will benefit from another year to two in the cellar, but it is super-impressive, even in the early going. I very much like the density and weight here, and yet the Akiko`s Cuvée remains light on its feet, as all the wines do. Vineyards sites in this blend are Yu-ki, Gloria, Campbell Ranch and Pratt Sexton. 94 points
