2016 Andre Dezat Sancerre Rouge V Vignes

Vieilles Vignes
An utter aromatic delight, this wine, flowers and honey and red fruit, and just a hint of woody spice, all followed by a prolonged, creamy mouthfeel. The Dezats have a winemaking history in Sancerre going all the way back to the 16th century, and it shows. Sancerre rouge is a neglected style, but where else could you find such good value in such a well-made Pinot Noir? (NT 22/06/18)
