Allen Meadows
From Craite Paille, Les Seuvrées, Belair and La Justice. A completely different aromatic profile is present here with much more sauvage character evident on the earthy red and dark currant scents that are trimmed in just enough wood to merit mentioning. The sleek, cool and beautifully well-detailed middle weight flavors possess both a bit more volume and noticeably more punch on the delicious yet entirely serious finish that is at once well-balanced and persistent. This lovely Gevrey villages is worth checking out. 89 points
