Quinta do Vale Meao is a fabulous producer. They make an eponymous first wine, which is stunning and ages extremely well for years. This Meandro is the second wine and shares some of the intensity of the Meao, plenty of deep flavour and great texture. It is long and frankly one of the better values in the shop. (CW 20/02/18)

It should hold reasonably well in the cellar, but take that in stages. This estate in Douro Superior is one of Douro`s icons. They are consistent, elegant and typically exceptional.
