Robust and ageworthy, a very serious Castillon from Chateau Biac, in a classic Bordeaux style - not unlike a Pessac in structure. Dark fruit, with a touch of earth and wood-spice, quite savoury, which lingers on the finish. Undeniably fine. (JH 25/04/22)

Jane Anson
Six years old, concentrated cassis and black cherry fruits, well integrated tannins, confident and enjoyable. A trace of heat on the finish, reflecting the warmth of the vintage, but great quality - the chocolate and grilled almond character that I get in many of these adds depth and makes Biac stands out head and shoulders against so many in the appellation.
