2014 Lucien Collard Grand Cru Bouzy Millesime

A staggering nine years of ageing on the lees has given this champagne real depth, with buttery apple crumble notes and plenty of nutty, savoury development. The Pinot Noir-heavy blend makes for a broad, rich impression on the palate, nicely balanced by the well-preserved freshness from the cooler conditions of the year.
