The 2014 Lafeurie-Peyraguey has an impressive and very attractive bouquet with pure wild honey, quince and orange blossom scents that gently waft from the glass. The palate is very well balanced, disarmingly pretty with great purity and elegance towards the finish. I can see this ageing with style. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting. 93 points

Another in a line up of refreshing, well balanced Sauternes in 2014, this is highly perfumed and floral. Lemon zest and lime-like aromas are complemented by peach and nectarine sweetness and a dusting of vanilla spice. The Sauvignon freshens the finish. 93 points
