While Ferrando has a Midas touch with reds, she also releases some knockout whites. The 2012 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc (80% Clairette and 20% Roussanne) is a prime example and offers up loads of apple, citrus and honeysuckle to go with a medium-bodied, beautifully balanced and fresh feel on the palate. Laser-focused, with vibrant acidity, this beauty should be consumed over the coming couple of years (although it will most likely last much longer). Drink now-2016. 91 points
