2012 Hudelot-Noellat Vosne-Romanee

The 2012 Vosne-Romanee Village comes from the family`s 0.80-hectare plot in `Bas-Mazieres`. It has a crisp, slightly more stemmy bouquet with commendable definition and character. Plenty of forest floor and undergrowth scents infusing the red fruit profile here. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, slightly brittle tannins. There is good fruit concentration though it is quite compact on the finish, linear and not quite possessing the charm of the Chambolle. Still it has good potential. 89-91 points
