The 2012 Garnacha Blanca is produced from one of the classical white grapes from Rioja, which, unfortunately, is very scarce and Abel was only able to make 560 bottles in 2012 from grapes sourced from different vineyards in the Sonsierra region. It’s very aromatic, fresh and clean with plenty of white flower and ripe apple notes. The palate starts a bit flat, but the acidity shows up in the finish and lifts the wine up. Drink 2014-2017. 92 points
