Pulenta Estate are based in Mendoza province, the wine capital of Argentina. The Estate Cabernet comes from the Alto Agrelo vineyard in the Cordon del Plata (`the silver seam`), in the foothills of the Andes, at a pinch below 1000 metres altitude. A touch of spice, dried fruits, tobacco and pepper round out the classic Cabernet character. (NT 04/09/15)
