In Chiantishire when you plant the Bordeaux varieties somehow the Tuscan DNA overcomes that of the grape varieties. This organically grown Merlot/Cabernet blend combines power and elegance and its maturation in French oak - only 15% of which is new - does nothing to disguise its origin. So, distinctively Italian with a touch of French reserve. A very classy wine for the beef in your life. (CW 21/07/14)

Antonio Galloni
The 2010 Geremia, Rocca di Montegrossi`s Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon blend, is utterly magnificent. Lavender, plums, cloves and violets literally jump from the glass. The flavors are bright, focused and vibrant to the core, all with a stunning sense of energy and pure class. The 2010 looks to have a very bright future. What a gorgeous wine this is. Geremia is 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink 2016-2030. 95+ points
