finished malo now but not racked and certainly reduced. Fresh acidity, a little edgier than the Chambolle. Good tannins and minerality, a little fuller- more matter, ddenser. (CW 29/10/11)

Allen Meadows
This has some young vines 1ers added to a blend of Maizières and Les Vigneux. This is also reduced but there is an elegant and very pure mouth feel to the sophisticated and silky medium-bodied flavors that are blessed with fine balance on the dusty and lingering finish. This is also a lovely villages and I very much like the style plus it should amply reward mid-term cellaring. 2016+. 88-91 points
