This is a proper drinking claret of amazing value. An obvious Pauillac, it does have power, more drive perhaps, but is not over extracted. Winemaking from 35 year old vines is old fashioned and gentle with only 30% new oak. Fresh and delicious with finely wrought tannins this is a super wine to drink or to cellar. (CW 14/11/13)
