Thirsty Thursday Tasting - beautiful Beaujolais

Thursdays this month have lined up remarkably well for our tasting-schedule - it's Beaujolais Nouveau Day! However, while most of the region still celebrates the madness of drinking unfinished wine, there is a growing wave of producers who say "NO NOUVEAU!" Before the nouveau, Beaujolais was a very small, very rural region where viticulture was centred on the crus and the wines were made from Gamay in a style very similar to the Pinot Noir made further north. This tasting will showcase a few producers working in that style, NO NOUVEAU!
