From Dundee Hills, Eola-Amity, Yamhill-Carlton and McMinnville. Fruit from the Bishop Creek vineyard accounts for 30–32%, the Momtazi vineyard for 12–14%. The rest is estate fruit. Pale ruby with a purple tint. Rich cola and a lot of iron, red fruit, florals and wet leaves. Quite a sweet-fruit nose thoroughly integrated with a wet-leaf component. Very earthy – nearly peaty – with a dry finish. High acid. 16 points
