Move over Rabbie Burns, we’ve got Burgundy to taste. This Thursday in our Copthall Avenue store we will be showing a selection of barrel samples from Burgundy’s fabulous 2023 vintage. We could tell you that the whites have a certain richness to them, even as they maintain the good levels of acidity that bring about a sense of freshness and energy, and the aromatic and expressive reds have the openness that characterises a vintage that's not too densely concentrated; but it would be much better if you came and tried for yourselves. The £25 ticket price is redeemable against any 2023 Burgundy en primeur purchase, on the day or thereafter. Wines will be open from noon till 6pm. /NT
