Neal Martin
The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Chapter Four Stellenbosch comes from low-yielding bush vines planted in 1986, matured for ten months in used French barrels. It has a lovely nose with oily scents, hints of passion fruit percolating through with time. The palate is fresh with crisp acidity, a tang of orange rind and bitter lemon, vibrant on the finish. Mossop halted malo to compensate for the lower acidity, which was a prudent decision as there is plenty of freshness here. 89 points
