Eric Guido
A mix of cranberry and plum sauce gains freshness through the addition of fresh mint and flowery undergrowth as the 2018 Rosso di Montalcino opens in the glass. The textures here are simply stunning, as this comes across as almost juicy yet also so pure, and with a balanced sweetness to its red fruits and spices that keeps you coming back for more. The 2018 has really come into its own and is definitely one of the most successful Rossos of the vintage. 93 points
