Based on the 2015 vintage and blending Péters`s Chardonnay with a saignée of Pinot Meunier from René Geoffroy, the latest rendition of the NV Brut Rosé for Albane bursts with complex aromas of red apples, pomelo, fresh mint, licorice and shrimp shell. On the palate, it`s medium to full-bodied, delicate and incisive, with a delicate phenolic presence and a sneakily persistent finish. Péters contends that the tannins of Pinot Noir would amplify the austerity of Le Mésnil, hence his decision to work with Pinot Meunier. 93 points
