John Livingstone-Learmonth
(cask) bold, dark robe; the nose has a liberal expression of black cherry fruit, orange peel, is a near racy affair, carries a little smoke-vegetal hover, is typical of Greffieux in its elegance. The palate links well, offers a fluent run of smoothly textured, engaging content, well juiced fruit present with a criss cross of ripe, live tannins, is vivid wine. It shows an atypical Greffieux Southern leaning, has a citrus freshness on the finish, is STGT wine. It’s well worth study. From spring 2026. 2047-49 4.5 stars
