An international project by three experienced vignerons, these wines benefit from a great deal of expertise - and it shows! This is warm and silky, with lovely fruit-compote and graphite aromas, rich blackberry and strawberry flavours and ripe, palate-coating tannin. Barrel-influence from 18 months in French oak is beautifully integrated. Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah in the blend here, ideal Mediterranean varieties for the climate - this is very impressive, and exceptional value. (JH 10/07/2021)
