Anything remotely decent in Germany bears a stiking resemblance to the best of Burgundy, from the gradual development and site selection of monks - especially Cistercians. The size of vineyards and the VDP's Grand Cru system renders the best wines easy to find, as does our careful and tiny selection of the best growers.
