Bright ruby in colour. The nose shows a touch of reduction. Nutty and cherries, there is rather good intensity on the palate, a line of intense cherries, no sign of the reduction here. Drink from 2028-2033. Tasted: November 2023. 90-91 points

The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Village, aged in 10% new oak and completely de-stemmed, has an attractive bouquet demonstrating a little more nuance than the Morey Village. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chewy tannins on the entry. It softens towards the finish with raspberry and Morello cherries mixed with a dab of licorice. This should turn into a very fine Chambolle. 89-91 points
