The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin La Brunelle, matured in 80% new oak, has another quite opulent bouquet with blueberry and touches of cassis fruit, pressed violet and iris flower, more floral compared to the Aux Corvees. The palate is well balanced with fine definition, quite ripe, the oak a little better assimilated than the Aux Covées and therefore it reveals more of the terroir on the finish. 90-92 points
