More backward than most at the tasting, this has a lovely black/hedgerow fruit nose and is very sweet and very tannic. Loads of black fruit and very mineral on the finish, this is definitely built for the long term. (CW 06/05/09)

Jancis Robinson MW
Particularly bright dark crimson. Dry herbs and undergrowth – almost that wild-garlic smell. Then massive freshness and sweetness on the palate that doesn’t exactly match but promises well for the future. Massive tannins and a dry finish. Extremely vigorous. Lots of fun, sappy flavour and energy. 18 points
