Jane Anson
Sandalwood and cedar on the opening, brambled fruits, white pepper, austere but with juiciness on the finish. 48hl/h yield, 20% new oak for ageing. 87 points

The 2024 Senejac was matured in 20% new oak. It has an upfront bouquet with brambly red fruit, briar and light pencil shavings scents, which are cohesive and attractive. The palate is medium-bodied with finely-knit tannins. Certainly one of the more elegant Haut-Medoc wines this vintage, with a pretty pastille-like finish. 88-90 points
