Jane Anson
Gunsmoke depth on the aromatics, cloves and coffee wash, subtle but evident, with gentle white pepper spice and soft cassis and blackberry fruits. Careful construction, just impacted by high acidity on the finish. 40hl/ha yield. 89 points
Antonio Galloni
The 2024 Olivier is a very pretty, aromatic Pessac-Leognan. Crushed flowers, herbs, rose petal, mint and blood orange lend notable complexity to this attractive mid-weight wine. 87-89 points

The 2024 Olivier is endowed with one of the better sets of aromatics this year, with attractive black fruit, black olive and light estuarine scents (even though it is not in proximity!). The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, gentle grip and a little more weight on the back end, leading to a composed and quite persistent finish. The 2024 is classic in style and maybe a bit dry for some, but I like the cut of its jib. 91-93 points
